Zara, sharp-tongued, is a professional bridesmaid for hire. Wealthy brides, especially ones without friends, hire her to help make their preparation worthwhile. But nothing prepares her for her next job. She gets hired for a high-society wedding by Lola, an influencer living a fake life, and obsessed with making her wedding the most talked-about.
The pay is nice and everything is paid for including her asoebi and jewelries. But when Zara shows up, she gets the shock of her life—the groom is her ex, Luke whom she had dated in her University days, and whom was deeply in love with her, but chose his family’s expectations over her then. Now, he’s marrying Lola, daughter of a wealthy businessman, in a wedding that screams “PR.” Zara promises herself to remain professional, take her paycheck and leave.
But when Deji, Luke’ best friend since University days enters the picture, things get hot for her. Deji, who doesn’t believe in love, instantly suspects Zara is either one of Lola’s social media props or is there to cause trouble because of Luke. They clash. Hard. But as the wedding preparations unfold, they keep finding themselves paired. Whether stuck in traffic together, running errands together or forced to play the fun couple’s trivia game, feelings begin to grow. Deji soon realizes that underneath the tall walls, she’s just a really nice lady but has been deeply hurt in the past.
Zara, on the other hand, is surprised to find warmth in Deji’s guarded demeanor. Meanwhile, Luke starts acting up.. He begins to chase Zara again, trying to rekindle old feelings. Having being around her for that short while, he finally confesses he might be marrying Lola for the wrong reasons. In the midst of this chaos, who will she choose?
